The samosas were perfectly crisp and flavorful, and the strawberry samosa sauce was a unique surprise—bursting with flavor and totally unforgettable. We also had the vegetable korma, rice, garlic naan, and more samosas… every single bite was delicious. The customer service was outstanding—they went above and beyond to make sure we had a better experience than any other Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to. You can tell they truly love what they do and take great pride in their food. Friendly, welcoming, and passionate! This place is an absolute MUST TRY. We’ll definitely be back! ”

“ Great Indian restaurant. Kind of a hole in the wall vibe. While I was there I saw multiple locals/regulars come in to pickup orders. I ordered Honey Cauliflower, Masala Dosa, Shrimp Madras Curry and Garlic Naan. I was excited to find Dosa on the menu, Employee was super helpful and chatty, explained all of the various dishes and how to eat them when he brought them out. Food was not as spicy as some Indian food I've had. Everything was delicious, would come again when I'm in OS. ”

“ First time going to HWY To India, Ocean Springs, MS. and I was not disappointed with the food, service, and atmosphere. Friday 2nd of Jan. The place was a quarter full but quickly filled to about three quarters full. It was handled quickly and professionally. Our server, Mr. Gopi, was extremely helpful in explaining the many different versions of Indian foods available. He suggested various items by which we, my church brother and I, decided to select from Mr. Gopi’s expertise. We chose: the Lamb Chops, Lollipop Chicken, Goat Meat, Lemon Rice and Green Mint Sauce as well as the Sweet Berry sauce. Drank Hot Lemon Ginger Honey Tea, water, and tried the Mango smoothie type juice, also had the Mango Ice Cream. Food enthusiast it was all well presented and very flavorful even though we opted out for all spiced mild. No disapproval on any item. Cajun food lovers will perhaps be satisfied with the many different spices and styles to their dishes, for they can match your desired level of spices and heat. There are North India dishes as well as South India dishes, there is a difference. Let your server know and do ask questions for knowledge sake. Mr. Gopi, our server, was a big help explaining all our curiosities concerning dishes that peaked our interest and his knowledge furthered our decisions of others. We will definitely be coming back, try other dishes, and letting others from church family and friends know. The portions were perfect size, prices were reasonable, level of spice-flavor-and heat of it per request satisfying and tasty! The business seemed clean and organized. Did not need to use restroom so no knowledge of it at this time. All the workers there were very attentive, smiling dispositions and eager for how well the food was to the customer, aiming to please!! Very much worth trying out! We will be regular customers. “ Definitely some of the best Indian food I’ve had on the coast. I am Indian myself and there is not a lot of access to the Indian culture down here so I was very surprised with a lot of the menu items. They had some of these items I haven’t seen since I was a little child. I would definitely recommend their customer. Service was amazing. They were so nice to me to my family. the vibes are great and overall the food is amazing. 10/10 ”

“ Indian food is easily in my top favorite cuisines. It’s varied across the regions and different specialties shine across the country. But the thing that unites it is an intense and complex flavorful profile. HWY to India feels like what I’d imagine sharing a meal in someone’s home feels like. The atmosphere is extremely cozy. I got the Tomato Rasam because I’d been craving a soup. It was perfect. Tangy, bright, and bright. Then I tried the masala dosa. It was crispy, flavorful, and the chutneys were the perfect compliment. I heard while I was here they have thali as well and I wish I would have known! Oh well, I guess I just have to come back. No complaints from me there They also can adjust the spice level to your taste. I got everything Indian spicy and it wasn’t overly spicy at all. Just enough to perfectly compliment the dish. All in all, eating here I could feel the love in every dish I tried. No notes. It’s worth the visit! ”

It was recommended that we stop to get food to eat from Highway to India Indian cuisine after visiting the beach. I am so glad because we were warmly welcome to sit wherever we wanted, and our waitstaff was professional, and knowledgeable about the options that would be suitable for someone who doesn’t eat gluten and dairy sensitive. He made recommendations with careful considerations of my limitations. I was thoroughly impressed by the food, service, the Indian music which infused the total ambience with authentic HWY TO INDIA ???????? influence. “ While heading to one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Ocean Springs, my friend spotted this restaurant and asked me if I like Indian food. I promptly made a U-turn and we had lunch here instead. Wow! We were both impressed by the quality and variety of dishes offered, as well as the friendly, attentive staff. My friend even got a free dessert for her birthday! We definitely recommend this business and look forward to coming back in the future! ”
